*what's life?*

Hahaha, pretty bored at the moment. Don't wanna touch the homework yet. Can come later =x. Yeap, so let's talk about life. Well i believe teenagers like us, love to question our own existence on Earth, what's the aim of our life etc.

Well in my opinion, life is some sort of a massive land. On this land, there's numerousroads. Roads that splits up into two or more roads and it just continue to split till the very end. And the end is naturally, the end of our lives.

Let's cover ambitions and dreams. I believe ambition is some sort of vision that allows people to "see" the paths they need to take in order to reach their goal. Or it can be serve as a compass, to guide them along. Those without ambitions are simply lost, roaming around, not knowing where to actually go.

Now what about love? I believe there's this quote saying "Love doesn't make the world go round, it makes the ride worthwhile" or something like that. Yeap, it is true i suppose. Love makes the journey more interesting, perhaps it is when two people had their paths crossed, thus sparking some romance. Normally, lovers tend to have the same interests, thus it is possible to say that they travel alongside each other on the roads.

Next is the bad roads. So what does bad roads mean? Yeap, it means the wrong paths that leads to one's downfall. Heard of this phrase? "the point of no return". Be it choosing to commit crime, misbehave, slacking in studies are examples of the bad roads. Bad roads usually ends, or just lead to even terrible roads that eventually round off with pain, suffering or even death.

So in conclusion, life is full of choices. you can choose how you want to live your life. Why choose to live a life full of regrets when you can choose to live life fully? Yes, I should be telling myself this.

Alright, all this are just my 3 cents worth. Yeap like what i said above, feeling pretty bored so just wanna express my thoughts out. I apologize to anybody who find this crappy but it's just my opinion. Alrights, sam's urging me to do my overdue homework. Hahaha, no choice, gotta obey her. Good nights all.
*revealed*

Yeap, in regard to the previous brain teaser, i shall reveal the answers ^.^ Hahaha.. simple answer it is. The police officer, doctor and lawyer aint males. They are of the female gender. Hohoho no homosexuality allowed!

Been an eventful day today. Had another round of Student Council Investiture. Tis time round, it's more formal and perhaps nicer. Hahaha deres background music involved and some sort of rose ceremony. Pretty sweet but failed to make the outgoing SCs cry neways =x

Later on went for NCC training. Hahaha been a great trainin, managed to take Part A again. I need to push myself a little more, even if i habta offend anybody. I'm sorry bout it.. but I really desire the post.

Yeap after on when the seniors finished their lessons, proceeded on to the NCC day rehearsal. Yay man.. got to be Part A PC tml. Things may change at the last minute, but i'm happy nevertheless.

Back to the posting for NCC. It's really tough.. with the stiff competition for various posts. With USM pretty much taken by Hakim, good posts are left with ASM, and 3 PC(platoon commanders). 16 second sergeants, only 5 get selected for higher ranks.. sho yeap.. difficult.

And now i'm really pushing myself to the limits. Should I fail to get wad I desire.. I gladly pat myself on the back and say, "I've done my best , they chose a better man to do the job".

*gentlemen.. start yur engine!*

Vroooooom! Every single one of them sped off, hoping to end the race being the best. Somehow, my engine juz fell flat and that leaves me eating dust at the original spot. Yes, im talking about the starting of oh-so-interesting school.

*stares at homework* I'm lazy, ever since .. secondary 1 i guess. Result? Rotten grades. Yeap, all i know is that if I do not start to get back to schooling mode, i'm in for deep shyt. I'll do my work after i update tis webby of mine.

Student council investiture today. Haha, our principle sure had a interesting comment. Well he said something like this"At RJC, the outgoing SCs during tis particular ceremony, tend to get real emotional and you can see many of them sharing their memories and starts crying. Yet over here in ngee ann, the SCs just seem to be real happy, is there anything gonna do with freedom?"

Perhaps there's something to do with role modelling, that's simply choking everyone of us, or rather to keep up with the teacher's perception of us. It's just simply too hard to be the perfect role model. Till now, still don't quite get what being a SC is all about.

It's not the same as being a prefect. I wun make it neways with my discipline. It's supposed to be a job to bridge up the gap between the students and teachers. Yet, I'm often scolded at for being an SC after committing some mistakes. Why can't i look upon as a normal student? ahhh... I'm whining.

I still do my duties diligently. Or at least, doing it with the best of my abilities. Hahaha.. let's see how would I feel next year, when it's my turn to hand over to the new batch of SCs.

A riddle for everyone. Guess quite a no. of people know the answer to this riddle, but for those who doesnt, here goes.

A police officer, a lawyer , a doctor and a monk, board a train. Sho the train started moving.. and at the next stop, a sexy lady went up the train. Sho the train carried on moving.. till it went thru a dark tunnel. It was so dark that it allowed one of the passengers to molest the lady. When the train sees light at the end of the tunnel, the lady went ahead to slap the monk.

The Million dollar question, why is dis so? Why did the lady slap the monk and not others? Have a good time wondering everyone. (you can post ur answers via the shout box)

I shall now proceed on to my pile of homework. Wish me luck.

*knock it down!!*

Push ups. In my ncc life, i hated those 3 words. Either that or "see the fence over dere? Touch it and get back here". Those were corporal punishment. Even as a 2nd sgt, I cant run away from it.

Just returned from part a camp(sec 1 cadets), pretty shagged that i slept over 13 hours. Yes.. i missed portugal vs england. Screw NCC.. or rather screw myself.

Anyways, was platoon commander for one of the part a platoons.(dey were separated into 2 platoons). Yea.. in regard to the 1st paragraph, it just doesnt feel good to say the words i myself hate to some younger juniors. Some argue that we went thru the same shit, now the younger generation must go thru it as well.

Forced to do so anyways, people claimed that im not strict enough. Maybe i really aint strict, but i just feel the right way is to inspire instead. Maan, im just so confused. Yes, part a are really very bad disciplined. Have to shout at them several times to get them moving. Drill wise, dey arent really tt good either. Is that a reason good enough for me to pump them? Or is there a better way other den knocking them down?

The answer will come in the near future i hope. The seniors will be passing down the roles of leaders tous. I'm pushing for this particular part PC(platoon commander). Hopefully I get it, else NCC life will be pretty boring.

Yeap, skool starting shoon. This holiday been filled with CCA activities. Guess it'll be a hard time trying to cope with my studies. *neeeeds a breather*

*yet all i want is to hide in the dark*

Sleep. People love to sleep. Strange thing is, i dislike sleeping. Issit a blessing or a curse? People complain that dey couldnt sleep becoz of stress, yet for me, the more stress i have, the easier i'm able to sleep. And i sleep fer really long hours. Shld i be glad or be angry?

Roughly at 3.30am i sppose, during the half time interval btw the match of 2 soccer giants, Spain and Portugal, chose to lie on my bed for a moment. Yeap u guessed it, i fell asleep. How useless ya? and woke up at 1 pm. Supposed to meet up wiff some pals to play basketball and LAN, yet my mind chose to sleep till soo late. sigh..

Don't feel very good today. Feeling real moody.. possibly sad. My emotions are all jumbled up..and doesnt feels nice at all. Blasting solitaire atm.. really nice song. Haha.. has some dark essence to it. Can visualize the days of tis lonely man in the song... and possibly my future?

Been noticing alort of my frens using loads of ... when dey sms, or even when they chat. Perhaps im a rather pessimistic person, but to me it seems as tho the other party who uses ... seem sad. Well issit true? Research time!

Life goes on for Portugal! Haha.. something to be happy about. Portugal defeated spain! Sure doesnt feel right to see the host country out sho early. At the expense of spain tho. Nevertheless, euro 2004 will be nicer fer sure.

Guess i'll play need for speed 2 now. It's really nice, the dark tracks , the rock music, and the speed of the car. makes me depress for some reasons yet i'm hooked on it. I'm a contradict.

*Mount Ophir*

I'm backieee! from a gruelling 4 day 3 night expedition to Mount Ophir. Okay some info, its the 64th highest mountain in Malaysia.. but but its the 6th toughest mountain to climb. located at 4187 ft up from normal ground level. Glad i made it all the way to the summit.

SHo the first day, wad did i do? first took a 3 hr ride all the way to somewhere near Malacca, Gunung Ledang to be exact. Attempted several obstacle course. Love the ice breaking games, can apply them in the upcoming Part a camp. Then had a really really great lunch, not to forget dinner as well. bEst ncc food ever. the chef even hafta watch us eat. =x The sleep was great too, air con was blasting at 5 degree celsius. maan... tt was heaven.

here comes the second day, couldnt get out of the comfy bed. but anyways, had to trek up the mountain to CP 4. took 3 hrs to reach dere, sho we were all pretty shagged wiff the oh sho heavy bag of ours. guess i shortened quite alorts. CP 1 was kewl, for its all stairs and easy. CP 1 to CP 4 was the tough one, the ground's pretty uneven hafta climb over logs. Makan maggie mee after making it to CP 4.

Gotta squeeze into a rather small tent wiff 3 other guys. But thankfully, none of us stink, sho sleeping was pretty made easy. hahaha also, the water fall. maaaaaaaaaan, i miss the water fall, the water's really cold and bathing in it rocks big time. took a stone back, sssh =x

next day we went fer the summit. and its sho blardy tough and colder too. thankfully our bags were lightened becoz we din nid to bring everything up. every single one of us, 70 people, made it to the summit. We endured the killer field course a.k.a kfc and some rock climbing, and i mean real rock climbing. *show off* =x We even broke the record for being the fastest ever! took some fotographs wiff me holding a mini fotograph of Sam =x

It may seem tt descending will be easier, well it is definetely not. u need to be more focused but it wun be as tiring as ascending. tripped over some roots at times but nothing serious happened. rested over for another night, before reaching the bottom of the majestic mountain.

AS for today, bought a few t shirt, one for sam and the rest for me. =x *greedy* spent over 90 ringit on everything. but its good to pamper oneself at times =x Took a foto and returned to singapore.

Met up sam lata on. hahaha.. missed her real badly during this 4 day 3 nite stint. and 2 days lata, she'll be off to australia. sigh.. it'll be horrible fer me. but wad i can say ish dat, absence really do make the heart grow fonder ^.^ (p.s next time i bring u up the mountain, i can remember the route =x)

Learnt alort from this trip. definetely useful in serving the army in the future. no toilets around sho we habta made do wiff the bushes. hahaha.. i wun probe into tt, its... err... disgusting. Love the nature, love the cold water, love the summit, love the cold breeze, love my fellow friends, love the sense of achievment when i look at the summit from the bottom of the mountain, love Sam too =x

my CLT said it best, there are 3 kinds of people. One hu chickens out once he looks at the height of the mountain. Another ish climbing up half way, found a good spot and decided to stae dere forever. And last but not least, the one hu endures everything and made it to the very end. That's all 70 of us. We earned our NCC badge well. :)

*ncc ncc ncc*

hohoho, being 2nd sergeant really rocks. it feels sho different when ppl call u sergeant. certainly feels good, being able to command and stuff lyk tt.

Sho commanded and controlled fer quite a moment, taught fellow part c cadets wad to do in spec course and finally reported to Tampines (DBS building) to collect our tins for flag day. Managed to collect quite an amt of money, allowing to end it earlier.

WEnt home straight after tt, be4 meeting up sam. hahaha.. p.s thks alort fer ur help too, aiding me to achieve 2nd sgt, ur love ish the greatest gift of all.
*second sergeant!*

Been ages since i last updated, cldnt help it, got NCC commitments and im going off for 4 day Mount Ophir trip tomorrow as well. Must as well update one long entry ferst.

Yup perhaps u guessed it, had Specialists' Course early on 5 days ago. Been a rather meaningful camp, learnt alort of stuffs and passed out as 2nd Sergeant! =x

Day One was boring. Plain boring, the CLTs all attempted to instill fear in us by being exceptionally fierce. Thankfully, dey were much more frendly later on. den had several obstacles to overcome and revisions.

Day two was plain stress. Had mutuals that required us to teach fellow cadets about Train Fire and Individual Field Craft. Well.. my train fire ish marksmanship and for ifc, its judging distances. It was pretty easy thankfully.. coz had great amount of help from Sir Kay.

Day three was tough, had to do everything in regard to both train fire and IFC. Some components for train fire ish stripping and assembling of rifle etc, and ifc its cover and conceal ment bla bla.

Day four was fruitful, naturally coz managed to achieve my 2nd sgt rank. wanted it darn badly and made it. kudos to my other ngee ann platoon mates, Aloy and Brian made it too. Good luck to those going for 2nd phase btw.

*cycling in the park*

Hahaha, din acherly want to go, but now tt specialists course sho near, no choice but to work extremely hard. Thank goodness i chose to go, else i missed out loads of stuff.

Life is full of choices, making the right one i believe is the one of our aims in life. Hope all of u guys make the right ones and don't habta regret the path u chose. I have my regrets too.

Yeap, plaed a lil cs later on. Hahah hilarious, when u get killed suddenly or u killed ppl wiff a stray shot. then went out cycling wiff hastmana later on.

It was enjoyable, ahaha for she has a stunt bike as well (wow). For those who seen my bike before(yellow haro zippo), yup her's somewhat like mine and roughly the same size. Sho ta da ta da, hours passed by.

Well.. headed home at around 11++. quite a few interesting things happened or mebbe rather weird. Well.. the first was the man in the esso supermarket. Apparently hes credit card seem to be expired, yet he claims he has thousands of dollars in it. hahaha.. egoistic man i must say. the way he keeps scolding the cashier irks me.

next was the traffic light. you noe the count down timer beside the traffic light a.k.a red and green man. well, the count down started at 25 seconds when it shows a red man. Yea.. it was really weird. or issit a new feature?

kay sho moved on, den met tis strange man scolding another hus driving a car. ahahah i juz stared at them, coz the man in the car cldnt hear him at all. strange strange.

yeap i guess dats all, had to make a quick one coz im really tired. spec course in 2 days time. well.. tata all!

*sacked*

Haha yup, sacked before i even got hired. haha, the boss said dere were too many ppl sho gotta kick me and Shang Li out. Ah well.. wad to do? nothing else but to take it easy and move on.

Everybody has setbacks i believe. Be it retrenchment, failures in exam, finishing last in a running competition or simply injuries. Well.. in order to recover fast from the setback, i guess one habta find the elements needed to change the setback into "a blessing in disguise". To put it simply, be positive. Sho yeap, here am i, ready for life once again. For those facing setbacks, brace up and never ever bow down to them.

sho today.. pretty much nthing. played cs and went to Tampines mall for a while with my mom and sis. juz tagged along and yawned along too.

bah! tomorrow dere's 3.2km fast march, to prepare for Mount Ophir expedition. Guess it'll be real tiring. Sho cya all and stay cheerful.. alwwaes.
